COURSE SUMMARY: Core Barre is an exercise program that combines elements of STOTT PILATES® matwork, ballet and athletic conditioning exercises as well as incorporating light weights. It emphasizes small intense movements to condition and define the muscles while lengthening them to increase joint flexibility. The class is set to music. The principles of Core Barre are STOTT PILATES® based to create efficient and safe exercise and to focus on the quality of movement with proper form while working in a safe environment with a qualified instructor.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:Learn how to challenge clients safely and effectively by taking STOTT PILATES® matwork principles to a high intensity. Learn the skills to take a group class through a high energy, mat based barre workout that is designed to be taught by a pilates trained Instructor in a studio setting. The use of small equipment such as toning balls, mini flex balls, and the ballet barre will be taught as well as variations of exercises and modifications for certain postures.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:Develop the skills to design a group class with the use of STOTT PILATES® toning balls, flex band exercisers, mini flex balls, mats and a ballet barre for variety, challenge and resistance.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:STOTT PILATES® Certified or trained Instructor or other accredited Pilates certification/training.

CEC’S:.2 STOTT PILATES® CEC’S and .5 ACE Credits awarded towards continuing education.

COURSE PRICE:$200,+ $50 Comprehensive Manual + tax, *Licensing Fee $50
Sunday's Syllabus Class additional $40

*A licensing fee of $50 is required to teach Core Barre at a studio/facility.
Licensing fee includes: Link to your website, Core Barre logos, class descriptions, syllabus updates, teacher support and playlist suggestions as they become available.
A name of the facility and the intent in which you wish to teach Core Barre should be submitted to Absolute Pilates.
