Core Barre Classes are now being offered
Core Barre is a high energy, low impact, fat burning workout. Its focus is on intensive isometric movements that sculpt the thighs, tone and firm the buttocks, flatten the abdominals and define the arms. Focused stretching to lengthen, tone and increase flexibility compliments a total body workout. Core Barre incorporates current biomechanical principles of Pilates, Ballet and general fitness concepts and is available to all fitness levels for those that safely want to change their appearance and have fun doing so!
Performance Fundamentals: Mat class of 3, just you and gravity - learn specific pilates exercises in detail
Prenatal class includes exercises from a unique and comprehensive program which addresses the needs of the pregnant woman from 1st trimester through labor. The method used will gently and safely prepare the body for labor while realigning the body for successful birthing.
Postpartum program is rehabilitation exercises essential for realigning the muscles and initiating the healing process; stabilization of the pubis symphysis, c-section, diastasis recti are all addressed with slow and mindful correct body mechanics.
Post Rehabilitative Breast Cancer class is a post–operative workout enhancing recovery through the Pink Ribbon Program which will help stretch and strengthen the shoulder, chest, back and abdominal muscles allowing women to regain full range of motion to those affected areas.
Prices and Packages
Private Apparatus lessons 55 minutes:
10 sessions $600, single session $65
Semi-private Apparatus lessons per person:
10 sessions $400, single session $40
Group of three - single session $30
Four Person Reformer Class - single session $28
Core Barre Class - single $20, 5 sessions $85, 10 sessions $150
Please wear comfortable form fitted clothing which will insure instructor’s ability to monitor your alignment. Avoid meals at least 2 hours before class. Pilates sessions are 55 minutes long and by appointment Monday – Saturday.
Mat/reformer class of three is offered to clients with 2 months Pilates training and instructor approval.
1 private full body fitness assessment with introduction to mat work and reformer is required before joining a semi-private class.
Packages expire 90 days from purchase date.
Please note that a 24 hour notice is required when cancelling or rescheduling a session.
The Pilates Center of Baton Rouge uses Balanced Body Equipment.
